About

Hi! I’m Nicole, a licensed therapist based in eastern Massachusetts.

I specialize in supporting anxious, high-achieving women and moms who are tired of people-pleasing and ready to see what’s possible for themselves. My clients are often ‘doing it all’ but struggling internally with the weight of ‘fixing’ and pleasing everyone.

WHAT GOT ME HERE:

Early in my therapy career I worked with children and families. I noticed in real time that when parents and caregivers engaged in their own work, their children benefited. When mothers were provided with support, the whole family reaped the rewards.

I don’t believe it’s ever too early or too late to begin this journey.

MORE ABOUT MY APPROACH & BACKGROUND:

My approach is trauma-informed and compassionate. Using a blend of CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness techniques, therapy might include:

  • Building awareness of how people-pleasing and perfectionistic tendencies might have been used as survival mechanisms to stay safe and connected early in life

  • Untangling your upbringing and what was learned in childhood

  • Learning to set sustainable boundaries and release guilt

  • Body-based interventions to help you calm your nervous system

  • Building skills to help you engage with your children from a grounded and intentional place instead of a reactive one

  • Help defining your own values in this season of life

PERSONAL:

Before returning to my home state of Massachusetts, I lived and traveled across the U.S. and Mexico. Outside of therapy, I can often be found hiking with my two kids or drinking coffee at the local bookstore.
