About

Hi! I’m Nicole, a licensed therapist based in eastern Massachusetts. I specialize in working with anxious overfunctioners, trauma survivors, parents and parents to be. My work integrates traditional talk therapy with somatic, trauma-informed therapy to support my clients in moving from survival mode to feeling more present and fulfilled in their lives and relationships.

MORE ABOUT MY APPROACH & BACKGROUND:

I offer a warm, direct approach that is nonjudgmental and collaborative in nature. Treatment is tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I attempt to balance support and exploration with being more directive when needed. Therapy with me includes evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) can be used for trauma processing when appropriate.

I have clinical experience in outpatient and inpatient settings and have been working with parents and caregivers since 2017. I have obtained postgraduate training in working with trauma and maternal mental health.

PERSONAL:

Prior to returning to my home state of Massachusetts, I lived and traveled across the U.S. and Mexico. I took the photos on this website on various adventures. Outside of therapy, I can often be found drinking coffee at the local bookstore or hiking with my family.
