Support for the Nurturers

Serving Massachusetts, Rhode Island, & Oregon

Specialized online therapy for the helping professionals and moms that are everyone else’s “fixers.”

To the one who takes care of everyone else —

Struggles with harsh self-criticism, prioritizing others’ needs, and getting stuck in “anxiety spirals” can feel familiar to my clients. Despite caring so much, they find that they are disconnected from themselves.

When we first meet, they often find it difficult to slow down and be present.

They may be caught up in “please or fix” patterns in their relationships, leading to burnout and resentment. They feel like they are the ones holding it all together.

Clients can feel exhausted and guilty when they do take downtime or shift the focus back to themselves.

They may start to notice their own perfectionistic tendencies and people-pleasing habits surfacing in their parenting. They want something different.

Before connecting with their concerns in therapy, they worried that feeling drained and anxious was just the new normal.

We reach a point where change is scary, but feels necessary.

Experiencing more peace and mental clarity is possible and asking for support is a form of strength, not weakness.

We were not meant to do this work in isolation.

If you’d like to work toward meaningful and sustainable change, I’d be happy to help.

I support helping professionals and moms navigate burnout, identity shifts, and challenging past experiences.

I use traditional talk therapy and EMDR to help clients find relief and reconnect with themselves. While talk therapy can lead to insights and skill building, EMDR can often help your body and brain process the root causes of your concerns.
